We are pleased to announce that Peta Kortum has recently joined Planned Cover to further enhance our insurance offering to the construction industry. Peta brings with her over a decade of construction insurance experience, having spent time at some of the country’s best known national construction specialist brokerages negotiating placements and managing programs for small residential construction companies, volume builders and franchises, through to large commercial, industrial and civil programs (including complex heritage developments and joint ventures).
Peta will be expanding Planned Cover’s existing product offering to meet the needs of the construction industry with Contract Works & Liability (Annual and Single Project policies), Builder’s Warranty, Design & Construct Professional Indemnity, Plant & Equipment and other general insurances.
Planned Cover can also assist consultants and their clients with the placement of Principal Controlled Insurance Programs. There are many benefits of having a Principal Controlled Program in place, however the ability for the owner/developer to guarantee the appropriateness and quality of cover is by far the greatest, together with the control afforded to the insured in the event of a claim, rather than having control in the hands of the builder.
