Meet James Kennedy

James is a media and communications professional with 10 years of experience in the built environment sector. His passion for the architecture industry lies in the tension between the often-insular complexities of realising a built outcome and the inclusive aspirations of the built design professionals to create greater social cohesion in communities.

At Planned Cover, James is responsible for the management and production of all communications and marketing activities, supporting the organisation’s ambitions of providing a full-circle of support to its built environment clients. In 2023, James was a co-founder of Architecture with Pride (AWP), celebrating LGBTQI+ diversity in the design profession. AWP is sponsored by leading architecture practices, industry bodies and corporate partners and delivers events across Australia each year.
