Meet Richard Aumann

Richard is a Senior Client Advisor at Planned Cover with more than 16 years’ experience in the insurance industry. After completing a Bachelor of Business at La Trobe University, his career has spanned customer service, underwriting and broking across a broad range of insurance classes, with the past 10 years focused on professional risks.

Richard manages a portfolio of professional and commercial clients, providing strategic advice and tailored insurance solutions with a particular focus on Professional Indemnity. He works closely with clients, insurers and industry partners to build long-term relationships, identify opportunities and achieve strong client outcomes.

Richard believes successful client relationships start with listening carefully, communicating clearly and acting promptly. As an ANZIIF Senior Associate, he is committed to high professional standards and a client-first approach. He also enjoys sharing his experience through mentoring and supporting team members, helping to build capability and deliver consistently high-quality service.
