Meet Karen Meiklejohn

Karen is the SME Broking & Training Manager at Planned Cover, leading the SME broking team while driving technical capability, training and process improvement across the business. With more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Karen has worked across all classes of insurance, specialising in Professional Indemnity insurance. She has extensive experience supporting architects, engineers, building designers, real estate agents and accountants, giving her a deep understanding of the unique risks faced by professional service firms.

Karen is passionate about developing people and enjoys mentoring team members to build their technical knowledge, confidence and careers in insurance. She is committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team focused on continuous improvement.
